At the annual Healthcare Real Estate Insights™ Editorial Advisory Board meeting Denver in late 2013, board members discussed the state of the HRE sector and compared notes on what they consider to be the latest trends and strategies.
As part of the meeting, we took the opportunity to conduct an unscientific poll to gauge their predictions about the HRE sector – focusing on their prognoses for their own businesses – heading into 2014.
As was the case a year earlier during the 2012 annual meeting, an overwhelming majority of the board members said they were optimistic. In interviews conducted during or shortly after the meeting, most board members reiterated their optimism for the sector as a whole, not just their own businesses.
