Some of the HRE sector’s leading professionals weigh in on the year to come

BinocularsManThe first part of 2014 brings with it myriad questions regarding the nation’s healthcare industry. Subsequently, that also means that questions abound concerning healthcare real estate (HRE), even though our unscientific poll finds that most professionals involved in the sector believe a “good” year lies ahead. Yet, perhaps the biggest question for the remainder of the year, and beyond, is “Who will hospitals and health systems want to own their ancillary real estate?”

That and a host of other topics were on the minds of some of the HRE sector’s leading professionals as they geared up for 2014, a year that many believe will be an eventful – perhaps pivotal –  year as the healthcare industry moves forward under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
